I usually dream about whatever aspect of the Beast I'm thinking about right before I go to sleep. Last night, I had dreams about Dinan rear wheels on all four corners of the car with 3mm spacers (thanks, Sweetsound/Anton!). Last week, it was meth injection (thanks, Howerton Engineering!). I know, I know, I'm a sick pup. Now, there are, of course, times when I am not thinking about anything at all relating to the Beast before I sleep....

Yea...

I had this dream...

I landed in chi-town for a business trip, boring meetings all day, but the secretary had a little twinkle in her eye - she handed me a slip of paper and said, 'call this number, ask for June' ...well that night, I was bored, missed my M back across the pond, and no poon to pound, so what the heck, I called the number, and asked for June. She said she '...was lonely too, had I ever been along lake Michigan at night for a drive?' I said, well, not in awhile...

...she said she'd '...be by the hotel at 11, I'll pick you up below the broken streetlight down the street.' I thought, intriguing, OK, I'm game. The night was a little cool, but not for long, she pulled up in some kind of dark beast, but below the broken light I wasn't sure. I thought, is this - she said '...get in...' before I new it, we were off, I wanted to look at the car, I kept thinking, hey this looks familiar, a special beast, but she sat there, perfect figure, not a stich on. We stopped on an empty road, she stepped out in front of the car where we met in a wet embrace, she backed up, pulling off my clothes, slowly starting to slide her perfect @s up, up on to the hood and it hit me - WTF - ...I leaped inside - the car - and drove off - I knew it, this was a juicy piece of @ss yea, push it - - I'm driving el diablo

I had a dream just last night that involved hauling serious (mhm) around my local area. Most poignant memory being passing a policeman going the opposite direction at about 140, him slowing and stopping to follow, he hit the lights, then his partner in the passenger seat pointed to something (assuming the radar) and threw his hands up in the air in despair, then shut down the lights and drove off slowly. That was sweet. Plus the constant dream i have going everywhere sideways around corners is better when its in the M.

Oh come on. You don't dream because you're awake in your garage either doing a motor swap or installing a blower

My good car dreams generally involve a sense of freedom from the traffic constraints in my area. There are so many friggin stop lights, stop signs, intersection photo enforcement cameras, speed traps... it is absolutely maddening. A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of driving in the UK. Now I know the UK has its own traffic enforcement challenges, but stop signs and stop lights at every dinky intersection is not one of them. I've always immensely enjoyed the roundabout concept, as it is SO much more sane than stop lights at every corner. One has a feeling of more control over the in-town driving experience. With stoplights, one is always trying to guess when the light will change, constantly scubbing all forward momentum, then mindlessly sitting and idling, even when there is no reason to.

The US is traffic light and stop sign CRAZY. What ever happened to yeild signs?? Give me preservation of momentum, continuous forward motion, and greater personal control!!!
I need a nap.
