Anyone have some good pictures of the e39 m5 when it was still a new car?

Pictures of it on the showroom floor? on the lot new?

I kindof want to see what a brand new e39 m5 looked like...not something often posted round here. Anyone have the hookup?

Wow! That's a lot of M5s! With their tails resting gently in the grass like that, they all look like dogs taking a cr@p in the garden!

In answer to the OP, I figured, easy - just go to the first few posts on the E39 board - from back in 2000, and have a look at all the lucky folk's pics from when they took delivery of their shiny new E39.......... Sure enough, there are thousands of posts, but NO PICS!

Gustav - why have all the pics gone? Surely storage is not an issue in this day and age? This has made me wonder how far back pics-in-threads go? There's rather a lot of pages of threads to search.......

+1. Are the pix archived and retrievable?

Back in the early days there was no storage available from the board, so anyone who posted pictures would have needed it hosted someplace on the net. Hence many of those former hosted pictures have invalid links this many years later.
