BBS maybe able to build me an 18 inch track wheel to fit over my Movit 380mm brakes??

I talked to BBS today about finding an 18 inch wheel that will clear the Porsche Movit 380mm brakes i've got on my M5. The guy at BBS was very confident that a custom set could be built from BBS's Motorsport division and for them to be an 18 inch wheel that will clear the large brakes, and get the correct offsets as well. It would be so great, to be able to use those very strong brakes and then match them to some stickys track tires, just for the odd track day every now and then....and l'm off to happy land.
The 19 LM's l use now are great, but l can't get slicks for them.
The custom BBS wheels arn't cheap....@ around US$1,200 for each corner l will have to think long and good about them

I will know in the next few weeks after l give them some specks. I have to get brake and rotor total diameter first and go from there.

hmm.. $1200 per corner sounds awfully cheap for custom designed rims.... but if you can really get something for that price, I might be interested as well.... keep us updated!

I don't think its possible to install 18" wheels on 380mm brakes. They are too BIG
