1. I have ahd alot of help from my StopTech, from emergency brakes at 60 mph to several hours of maximum attack 100% full throttle autobahn driving. You will always be safer than stock brakes.

1) if you are on the street and getting the intended usage out of a BBK, you are asking for trouble.

2) if you are on a track then by all means purchase a BBK, its WELL worth it.

3)if you are not in either of those categories then you are like me who purchased a BBK solely for the "looks." which is perfectly fine imo.

Whatever delta gains might be 120 HP is very impressive. Regardless you must understand that a not 100% running M% wil not get the advertised results?
so what you are telling me BMW would sacrifice safety on their M cars? emergency braking from 60mph will be no different with stock brakes. several hours of maximum 100% braking on the autobahn is why everyone in this thread has said its worth it if you are on the track and continuously stop from high speeds. so in a nutshell you just contradicted yourself.

I just read this thread -- sorry to get back on topic

This was the only post that mentioned brake feel. To me it is one of the most important things and one of the driving reasons behind upgrades I have done to other cars in the past. There is nothing more confidence inspiring than a really firm communicative brake pedal. The stock brakes can be improved with pads and fluid but can not match the feel of a quality BBK.

Do it for looks -- if that floats your boat..
Do it for safety -- if you will sleep better at night
Do it to improve the driving experience -- sold
