there is absolutely no need to replace the oil pump, unless you feel like spending another $1200 cause thats what they cost. i have had these pumps apart. they are very robust and really nothing inside them that should fail. you can fill it with oil and spin it over but i think you'll be fine just starting it normally

Gents,time for another update.

Have now everything back together and did a solution for the bent oil tube...
only lower oilpan to install tomorrow,oil in and INPA connected for first start







All nice clean stuff waits to get back in:

Gents,THE BEAST RUNS AGAIN!!!!!

Repaired also my power steering leak today and installed 2 E60 SSKs as well.
We started her up with INPA online(THANKS,sipi!) and I cranked her first with pulled fuelpump fuse and without spark plugs to get oil pressure.
Was rattling quite a bit due to no pressure in the Vanos,but after a few seconds everything was fine,no errors,leak,noises anything.

Video is crappy sound quality,sorry guys,not good enough to upload!
