Absolutely correct. And...he's going to spend as much on a good twin disc as he would on a CNS so I guess it's back to square one.

I have a strong feeling that the Clutch master kit that raz's is gonna install will be just fine. Why?? Because proper application, installment and use goes a long way. Clutches that are just burning up right & left and blowing up are more than likely because of mis-use & incorrect application. Keep in mind that the M5's stock Luk clutch is well know for being weak and some how they seem to last for tens of thousands of miles. 75,000 in my car and many other members cars aswell (if not more lol). Another thing is proper brake in of a clutch. I just installed a Spec stage 2 in my car and Specs says to put at least 500 city driven miles on the clutch before full engagement. Not to mention I doubt the stock clutches in are cars got much of a break in period when they were brand new. The dealers salesmen and the first owners probably got right in and started bangin gears as soon as they rolled off the truck. Granted this probably wasnt always the case but it's something to think about.

the fact CNS charges 2400 blows my mind away. an individual with a decent machine shop could rig up the CNS setup. all you do is machine down the outside of the flywheel and redrill the holes for a 260mm clutch kit. that would cost you a grand in parts, and few hundred in machine work, IF that. they are charging 2400 with probably a grand profit margin for something that really doesnt have much R&D.

ive reached my boiling point with the situation, if the car doesnt run right, im parting it out. i dont even want to deal with trying to diagnose whats wrong. ive wasted easy 30 hours of labor chasing an issue that was caused by a member who sold me the wrong sh8t, and then to top that off he wont answer phone calls now after i told him i want my money back. which is only pissing me off even more. soon as i get out of class im going to call him 1 more time and if i dont get a answer or returned call im talking to my CC company for fraud and a chargeback on my card.

Raz,Raz,Raz.....should have bought the E55!

Well, how bout it?

Did you ever get you SC in and running? Inquiring minds want to know. This is worse than having your favorite TV series cancelled at the end of the season...

Never rains but it pours. Wasn't it you quoting the Auto Gods of Carma in another blown motor thread (motors blow because the owner deserves it or something to that effect)? But even without tires you can see if the motor revs above idle. Wish you luck...
