Man ESS SC FTW! That is so sick. I had a Vortech S-trim on my cobra and it was half the price and put out a lot of boost. M5 modding is way less addictive than most cars because each mod seems to cost you a limb....oohhh:
This thread has got me thinking... why in the world would you buy a Dinan S3... Raza's car will basically be the same thing... for a whole lot less coin.. ouich
We were doing 270 km/h with Gustav videotaping in the back seat when I
lost power. Tried starting it again, grey smoke and no start.
Cracked block and broken piston.
Why did that happen? Noone knows for sure. This engine might have survived
forever when only doing short sprints between stoplights like most people
use their cars. Sustained high speed is what kills them if anything will.
After this => a sleeved block with forged pistons.
ok im done, but the cars not running right. when i turn the car on it turns over a few times before turning on, and when the car is on it idles fine, but the slightest movement of the throttle pedal or the car attempting to increase revs, and the car stalls. if you let it idle, it will keep idling just fine...
Could take a bit for everything to mesh up... the new tune and your engine that is. ??? At least what Ive seen on some other SC kits... How long did you let it run for?
thats what i thought too, but ive checked everything, and with the engine swap it would go into failsafe because the throttle bodies had a bad connection. im running out of ideas here with this issue.
i did install my V12 clutch, do you guys think that has any coorilation? i would assume if there was a tranny wiring issue, then the car wouldnt even turn on like it did when my crank sensor was unplugged...
:dunno:
