M5's running Gumball ?

Greetings all, I was curious is anybody here going to run the
Gumball 3000 ? I was watching the Jackass Gumball episode
and noticed an M5 was running it, I wonder what it came.
So will anybody be running the Gumball this year in the US ?

I'm signed up for the European Version in The M5. IMHO there's no better car to do it in. (for all round ability)

Some time back I read an article about the Gumball race. Good fun. Sadly I don't have the time at the moment to sign up, maybe somewhere in the near future! Article was great. Driving through Eastern Europe and getting problems at the borders etc. Still would like to join some time. Have fun and enjoy! Take care and safe driving!

If this year isn't in the US, I'd consider going. Putting together a team should be easy enough with all of the car nuts around.

As much as I would LOVE to run the original Long Island -> LA route, I'd be scared stiff of the local *idiot* cops.
