My Headlamp lens are opaque help!

Anyone got the same probs, the lens alone is looking a little faded and dull. Its taking the shine of my beast making her look tired. The lamps work fine as ever but the plastic is looking tired.

Can it be changed or is it a whole lamp unit job, looks like it could split if pushed?

I know this topic has been discussed previously on this forum. Use the search function up top for the terms "Meguiar's Plastic Polish" or even "Polishing Headlights" or something a long those lines. The Plastic Polish posting just tells you to try this product meant for any of the plastic on your vehicle, the results are quite promising. The other posting will be about how to literally wet sand your headlights using 3 different grits of sandpaper until the lenses are practically crystal clear again.

Cheers!

i once seen they polisch the lights with toothpaste. but i dont really know iff it works on plastic too be honest.
take some tooth paste and a ragg and rubb it for a minute on the head light.. then rinse it with water.
the one i saw them do, was allot better afterwards.

iff your feeling brave maybe you could try it out for us before you attack them with the real polisching creams and sand paper
