Here's how:
Morning, Sang-
There are three sets of fasteners you'll need to remove the front bumper:
1) small machine screws that fasten the fender well liners to the forward L and R shields (three/side). These can be removed without removing the wheels by turning the steering wheel to full lock and loosening with a small ratchet. The next step may be more easily performed with the car on a set of drive-up (i.e., Rhino) ramps.
2) larger machine bolts that connect the L and R "under shields" from the fender well liners to the front bumper (three to a side, I believe). The right side shield houses the temperature probe. You'll need to unplug it from the back to remove the shield part entirely.
3) plastic pop-rivets that attach the plastic bumper cover to the aluminum bumper support beneath it. You can access these by removing the black plastic trim strips on the front of the bumper. There are also a few on the top side of the lower grille opening. Don't forget them like I did. DOH!!
NOTE: It's been my experience that these rivets get destroyed upon removal (either by drilling out or prying loose). You'll need to buy a supply (10-12) of these from Howard. I think they're about $0.31/each.
Then it's simply a matter of slowly, steadily, sliding the plastic bumper fascia forward (straight and level) until it comes loose. If road grime has worked its way beneath your bumper, this may take some elbow grease and patience.
Good luck!
-Dave
