This is not a fake page- page was valid and is now directed by ebay to a 'no longer valid' page.
I've come to believe that there is a cottage industry within ebay that is designed to simply 'trade money' between scammers, 10 cent items, etc, in order to gain + feedback... then they use that account for the scam- Nikon D300, BMW m5, etc, etc.
Here is an interesting 'ebay feature'.. looks like the user was 'ntt200', and had a feedback of 105 with that 'auction'...
Auction was pulled, and seller has zero feedback.
Wonder how that happened? Unless I have the name wrong...

A coupel of weeks ago I was watching an X5 on ebay and sent seller a couple of questions that were never answered. A week later ntt500 (not ntt200) emailed me pics of the X5 and his only comment was that the person who won the auction could not qualify for financing. He did not answer any of my original questions but sent the same pics that were posted in the add. As soon as I opened his email my computer got a virus. The original ebay add was mysteriously removed so my advice is "Step away from this vehicle" and don't look back.
Last year I had an 840 advertised on Autotrader. Someone stole my add, my pics, my VIN, my text and advertised my car on ebay. As soon as I found out about it I contacted ebay and they immediately removed the auction. Ebay does try to keep on top of scammers but it seems to be rampant. Just my .05 worth.
Not sure if its the same car or not but I did see a Lemans blue 03 M5 on Ebay that was going super cheap....it had been in a front end collision and fixed.
The police are getting wiser to illegal ebay activity I think. This isn't strictly a 'scam', but a friend had his '02 RS4 wing mirrors stolen recently and shortly afterwards he saw them for sale on ebay. He contacted ebay and the police, but didn't expect anthing to come of it, cos you just don't these days..... To his surprise though, ebay and the police have an arrangement where ebay ensure the police 'win' the item and then they arrange to meet the seller......
Phil has his mirrors back and the scrotum that stole them is in a world of pain. Just occasionally, there is some justice in this world......
