It was basically after 70mph. Was in the left land I-90 west heading home from work. Noticed in my rear view mirror a car sweeping through the lanes. Finally came behind and gave the move over signal. Who the F*$& you think you are, giving an M5 to move over signal. So like a gentleman I did. I figured he will procced among his business. No, this guy wanted to play. As he pulles up next to me at around 65, he revves up his little
6 cylinder Go-Kart. I had 2 options:
a. Ignore him and let him leave you alone. or
b. Afterburners on. Stealth mode on. See Ya.
Yeap, you guess it. I chose option 2.
I let him take off first, followed right behind him. Couln't do much thow. Mass pike was full of cars. Got up to about 90 in and out of traffic. Then squicking slowly there was light. Open room for the beast to strech its long legs. Quickly I can sence the M5 was telling "give more, give more, give more" so I did. Little to my suprise I hit 165 and the Go kart had disappeared. O well I guess he realized he is no match for a Lemans Blue Beast.
Good night everyone and Happy Valentines.

I hope there was no traffic ahead of you when you were going over 100mph. Sounds dangerous. The guy deserved it for prodding you. Nice way to celebrate V.Day by asking an NSX to smooch your Lemans Blue behind.
I played with one once, not even close. Those of you on L.I. are familar with the LIE connector to the 135. It's a nice sweeping turn that opens up onto a very straight and open highway. Guy's riding up my *** on the turn, when it straightened out I heard him downshift and hit it. I just left it in third and walked away.
Haha, guess you showed him who was boss. I cannot beleive he tried to take on an M5 at that speed. He was just asking for it, glad to see you laid the law down. The NSX was a great car but it really needs an update. Will be interesting to see how the new one performs.
The '03 NSX has been updated somewhat, but retains much of its same flavor. It isn't really an all-new car. But there has been talk a long time about an all new 400 hp NSX coming up sometime or another that will be very price-competitive. Of course, these are all rumors, and we know how they go, but there's clearly a HP war among all the manufacturers so I wouldn't be surprised if they were planning one that was just that powerful.

Great work. Option 1 was not an option at that point. It is important that the M5 is well represented in street encounters, and you certainly have done your part. I don't like to leave any room for doubt in their minds. If you let them think they're close or are winning then you get guys like these F-150 Lightning and
other types who think they can beat an M5. Not all are like that,
but it is important to leave no doubt.
Yeah, the NSX looks outdated. Even the freshened-up 2002 is
lacking.
