Hello, old friends.

Hi guys. Long time, no see. Since I sold my Y2K M5 last year, I haven't been visiting quite so much. I still miss the car. A LOT. Just thought I'd post to let you know I'm still out here lurking, and waiting for the stock market to come back so I can get back into the M5 game again.

How're your clutches holding up?

SteveP,

Lots of clutch talk of recent. Do a quick search and you'll have plenty of fun reading to do!

Understand fully about the market. I work in telecomm and it's a sad time. I'm too am waiting for some kind of comeback so my wife and I can build our dream home. I can sympathize 100%.

Take care and hang in there!

Hi Steve,

Glad you checked back in!

22,000 miles so far with original clutch, but no more hauling my friends around going uphill at full load. (Don't you want to ask about oil consumption too?)

I had a buyer awile back for my Avus Blue too, but turned him down. He came down for the winter from New York (don't they all ) and seemed to be itching to get an Avus M5 as soon as he arrived. I just can't part with my limited edition baby.

I'm getting ready to replace my Pilot Sports (ouch $$$) but can't complain at 22k with 2 or 3 track days and excellent performance all the way. Except for the price, they seem to be the perfect overall setup.

Keep us posted on your M5 progress. Who knows, maybe you'll run across your blue car back in the classifeds at just the right time!
