Hennessey attempted this type of scam with one of our owners here and was caught well before he could pull off this kind of scam. This is scary. I've heard of the same thing occuring with Durango owners yet he continues in business! Maybe the magazines should be held accountable in this gentlemen's lawsuit as well for not checking on Hennessey's business practices. If would be different if all of his customers were satisfied and singing his praises but I've not heard of a single happy one! The only person happy is Mr. Hennessey!

wow.. that's incredible... how can he continue a business like that? I'm suprised that no-one has ratted him out to the major car magazines yet... But then I guess a lot of american car tuners are like that.... they like to take the money up front and make you wait for months and months before they do anything... US based tuners are shady at best....

For those reading this post that didn't have a chance to read Hennessee's website when he was reportedly working on M5 performance parts, please note that he was taking orders on them while they were in development. Of course none of the parts were released for sale!
In some cases he has a good excuse, as he is still working on the development. He probably avoids giving delivery dates in writting.
That guy sure learned the hard way. I cant believe he would shell out that kind of cash and not even think twice. That doesnt sound like the type of financial sensibility of a man who can affford to put $140k into modifying a car.

I was personally taken for a little over 20k. Taig got nailed for 142k plus a Viper. We have spoken many times and we both take full responsibilty for not doing the proper research. Not trying to push off the blame here. But if this info was available when we did our deals I am sure things would have been much different. Hopefully anyone reading that post will gain a hard earned lesson from our foolishness.
