I've gotten used to just about every angle of the car except one. The A**! It's like a woman trying to hide her rear. No matter what you do it's still a big b**#!! I guess the best thing is to keep the eyes forward!

Well, I donīt know. In some pictures I seem to like it and in others itīs like, NO WAY..............The pictures I posted here a couple of weeks ago of Brian Lewisīs 745i I really liked. I guess it depends on the way the picture are taken.

Thanks for posting the pictures

Mike-S.

Does these wheels shown in the pics fit the 5- series???

I agree with Mark, the new 7 is "butt ugly".

Had a good nose around one last week in Holland and the interior wood looks like something from Ikea - yuck!

well, hopefully next year they will have a "butt-lift" and change the rear of the 7.. I didn't know there was a hydrogen version of the new one though..

Maybe BMW will attempt to fix the rearend like other manufacturers do--put on a spoiler??? Or maybe they will add a supercharger so the car can accelerate away while leaving a smoke screen in the rear so you can't see any details??

I stood in front of the car and thought the front end looked a little like an SUV. Perhaps the M5 and other models have made me focus too much on a traditional BMW sporty look. Maybe I need to clean my system of these thoughts by selling my BMWs and buying a Lexus?

Philip,

Say it ain't so! Don't go for a Lexus. Please!

I saw one in the flesh the other weekend getting PDI'd and I know I'm in the minority when I say it's kind of growing on me, too. Yes, the back of the car is a bit severe but I'm willing to give it a chance. Personally, I have a bigger problem with the headlights than the rear.

I just think that overall people react negatively to any change. I for one am guilty of that as I still can't get past the styling of the 996 car!

Regards,

DWP

In my opinion the new 7 series looks a lot better live than in pictures. It reminded me of an E46 3 series on steroids.
