you will see no difference on a dyno, it takes gearing into account

Watch this video again... BMW E39 M5 Dyno - Reading Low!!! on Vimeo

Notice how my electric fan kicks on for a split second and turns off about the 3-5 second mark. I wonder if it's not turning on and causing my car to pull timing?

Oh scratch that because it looks like it turns on futher down the video..

That isnt nearly enough CFM to cool a car on the dyno. You'd need a very big (and focused) fan.

Just got off the phone with Aaron (Churious) and he did a MAF test and could only get 110lph with his VW Mafs. He has new OEM inserts sitting at home. So he's going to go switch them out, drive for a few miles and run the test again. May partly explain why I was able to keep up with him.

With the OEM Inserts he just did 128lph in 3rd gear.
