i have it set to 85 because 15+ is when my eyes open up to see if anyone is up ahead and when the radar volume is turned up. its easy to get out of tickets when your <25 once you are >25 you are screwed.

Raza - that's bs about the toll... every time I am in DFW I use the tollway (I go through the tag lanes since I'm generally following other board members around) and I've never heard a thing about it.
yea its a real dakar m5 too, not one thats been repainted. truly unique car that kyle has.

and i agree on the toll, even on GBTP and the tollway if you run it they bill you the amount + 1 or 2 dollars. frickin $25 fee is truly absurd, you have to literally keep $100 in 1s on you to be able to go from NJ to NY in a car.

What on earth!? Is that painter's tape?? The car looks like one of those new "hidden" cars that's being tested for production! Did you do this on your first legs of the trip or all the way through? As silly as it seems it's actually not a bad idea

it is, i know plenty of folks who do it. i dont have a clear bra and a roll of tape is $5. im glad i did it because some truck was spilling sand along the way and that wouldnt be a good combination going 85. i did this all the way to OH. OH to NY i didnt because i was being lazy and in a rush. on the way back to dallas i didnt do it because finding a car wash that wouldnt ruin my M5s finish was next to impossible. so i drove home without any.

i had the front end painted back in jan, so i taping it off was beneficial imo.
