Dave Z you still around

I need to replace the pads on my St-40 calipers and it's been so long I forgot which pads go to them for street use.

Is this the right set?: Axxis ULT high performance brake pads - front (D681)[63-223-0681]

Thanks,

Here is what he told me a month or so ago (for ST40 front calipers)

To order pads for the StopTech calipers, click here: Zeckhausen Racing and then select your caliper.

So, click on that link, then select the link for ST-40 pads.

cheers

I called looking for fluid and left a message. I never hear back from Dave. I got tired of waiting and ordered it from Turner. I doubt I will get my brakes from them. I also mentioned that I was a m5board member on the message (expecting better treatment I guess) and never got a call.

Very strange. Dave has provided the best customer service I can imagine over the years. Outstanding customer service.

Agree with this.
Dave Z has been outstanding in my dealings with him, even more so considering the constraints of dealing over timezones.

+1 for Dave.
Great source of information - helped with my ST-40's and pad advice.
Never had a problem with communications - email or phone - always responsive.

I don't blame you for grabbing the fluid wherever you could get an answer. I've been slammed with calls ever since the Roundel ads (I guess they worked) and I try to get back to everyone. Been staying until 8 PM every night until they lock the building and turn on the alarm. But that's no excuse for failing to return a call. I'm sorry.

I went back into the phone message logs and could not find any M5-specific messages that have been unanswered. However, there are four messages over the last week that were unintelligible due to a bad connection or someone simply leaving their number too quickly and/or mumbling. It's so frustrating to get static in the middle of a number and then not get a second change, either from another call or from simply repeating the phone number in the same message. I get some great messages, full of detail about the car and what the customer is looking for and then they seem to rush through the number as if that's not the most important part. That frustration has certainly changed my own behavior when I leave messages for others.

Bottom line - if you get my voicemail it means I'm on another call. If you don't leave a message, I'll never know you called. And if you don't leave the number clearly, I may bother half a dozen other people trying to call numbers that are similar sounding to what you left!

I'm pedaling as fast as I can!

By the way - email is an excellent way to get questions answered. I'm at david@zeckhausen.com
