17" spare Q

I have a set of replica 17" rims that I want to put snows on. In the summer I'd use one of the mas a spare...what size tire will fit in the rim? I assume the width can be in the 225-245 range, but the second number has me scratching my head??

You need a rolling diameter of about 25.6 inches. 245/45-17 would be about right.

Jerry

test fit one of the rims to make sure it will fit over the brakes, not very many 17's fit over the M5 front brakes.
