23 minutes to change bank 2 CPS heres how

This must be a world record but I couldn't have done it without this little fella. I bought it from Canadian Tire, made by Mastercraft, the hex bits are fitted by friction so they don't drop out and I tied a piece of wire to the other end so if I dropped it I could retrieve it. At the same time I had a strong magnet on another piece of wire which just sat on the hex screw so I couldn't drop that either. The rachet action on this is super fine so it compensated for the tight access. GET ONE.

Doesn't help my problem though as I was changing the exhaust CPS to cure my detonation problem, as a few people on here said it worked for them, I guess I change the other 3 now. Does anyone know if the exhaust made more difference or the intake?

that's a great looking little set and with only 6 degrees of sweep needed to ratchet, that's pretty nice! Too bad there aren't any canadian Tire stores in the US. Is that really only $24.99 CAD? Or is that $24.99 USD?

I did the something similar with a 1/4" rachet having a 1/4" socket mounted. A cheap 5mm hex bit from a Harbor Freight kit was inserted into the socket. It promptly fell out when turned over so rather than glue it in the socket, I put a piece of paper over the socket and jammed the bit down over it. Fits nice and tight and I don't ruin any of my tools.

$24.99 CAD so its great value I can think of other uses for it.

I picked up a MAC tools one just like that. Worked awesome! Came with 3, for like 45.99CAD. I did the Passnegerside exhaust CPS in probably 15 minutes. 5 of which to put the stupid fresh air intake duct back on lol. Apparently an 8mm wrench works!

I am going to do my other 3 CPS's. I think im going to do the other exhaust cps first, seems to have more affect on driveability over the intake sensors.

Out of curiosity -- did you reach the sensor from atop the engine or underneath the car? I have both exhaust CPS' that need replaced and looking to do this from above as opposed to underneath. Thanks!

I did it from the top you just have to map things out with your hand as you are working a little blind. Just know where every thing is and dont forget the magnets. You have to push the heater hoses out the way every now and again, this is on the drivers side, the passenger one is easy.
