I am taking my car in for rear diff bushing, seals, and guibo replacement next week, after talking to the shop (AGA) they said that it would be another $190+Parts ($59) to do the reinforcement. I guess of the 11.2 hours Dinan claims, all but around 2 are already being done with the bushing & seal work.
Basically getting $800-1000 in labor knocked off the price of it... My (far) future plans are to get the ESS Supercharger, or at least headers and other stuff like that...
Any reason not to just go ahead and do it now? Give myself piece of mind for not much $.
Also found out that doing clutch/flywheel at this time will only be an extra $400 or so, essentially making the Guibo replacement just parts, the labor I would be spending on that is soaked up into the clutch/flywheel replacement. Found a Dinan flywheel for a good price and with close to 100k on the car, figure its a matter of time before its due anyways...
Trans mounts are also on the list (stock), anything else I should have done while they have the car in that state of being? Any gaskets or other seals, bushings, bearings, anything I should consider doing as preventative at this point? Maybe have transmission fluid drained if they actually take it out?
Thoughts?
