The fastest sedan claim is based only on top speed. Road and Track and car and driver both make disclaimers in their articles about this. Their claim is that all other vehicles that are capable of faster speeds are limited and therefore not the fastest in stock form. The car is impressive though. Getting a car that weighs 5700lbs and has the aerodynamics of a farm tractor to do 168mph is no small feat. Then again the car does have a turbocharged big block under the hood. Hmmm....maybe before going the route of Nowack or a supercharger someone shold put that engine in an M5. 645tq would be very interesting.
