I have the Peake R5 SRS scanner and it is reporting a Table 40, F0 fault. I tried resetting it and could not. The fault definition is "Control Unit Fault, Internal Error." I did not find any infomation on it specifically using search function so I am wondering if anyone else has seen this and knows if the Airbag COntrol Module, Part no. 65776900727, indeeds needs replaced and coded. Vehicle is a 2001 M5. Labor for diagnostic looks to be over $100; if I can be reasonably assured that is the actual part that needs replacement then I will go ahead and schedule the repair and save some diagnostic cost. Of course, I understand that it could be something else (or additional) but I want to at least start the process down the assumed right path. Thank you.

Check the FAQ sticky on Peake Codes at the top of the page, perhaps there is more info there. Is there a problem you are having, or are you just getting a fault code? If the latter, clear the codes and then see if any come back.
