Hella Euro Xenon Bulbs vs MY2000 Xenon Bulbs

Are they different? I'm in the middle of TRYING to put my MY2000 bulbs in my new Hella Euro housings and there doesn't appear to be any way to secure the bulbs in the new housings.

Are they different?

what is a "my2000" bulb

are you referring to your car being a 2000 and you are trying to use that bulb

if thats the case then yes you can reuse them. all the xenon E39 use same bulbs and ballasts.

Model year, sorry. The xenon bulbs from my 2000 housings don't appear to fit or can be secured in the Euro housings. Does that make any sense?

Does the connector from the ballast screw into the housing, and that's how the bulb is secured?

The boot on the Euro housings seem to inhibit the bulb connector from my 2000 ballasts. It doesn't seem like there's any way for the bulb connector to screw into the new housings.

Ah okay I took the Euro rubber boot off. The bulbs rest in there, but there's still no way I can see for the 2000 ballast/bulb connector to fit. Maybe if I pop off the 2000 boot/headlight mounting pieces...

Live from the garage...LOL.

your terminology and lack of details make this complicated. this should be really simple i dont even know where there could be possible confusion.

Amazing, Raza! With the task of completing your engine build you still have time to help others. Hats off to you!

I'm not sure what other terminology I can use. It was not as straightforward as one might think. I have a full write-up on the way along with how to wire the Bekkers AA harness to MYCARR AA bulbs -- this process was also not straightforward.
