I did not use the spade bulb. The only place I needed something rather than 44mm was in the glovebox.

I am yet again sorry about that. If you want, mail that last bulb to me and I will mail you one of my 44mm.

I'll also check to see if they will fit into the C pillar map lights, but they might be too long. Will report back with fitment and light output...
So I got these in, and they do not work in the map lights in the dome light fixture. The tip of the bulb is positve, with the shoulder being negative. The fixture in my car is wired just the opposite, so without major hacking, these will not work. I need non-polar bulbs. I also tried them in the C pillar map light, and they did light up there, but the bulb is too long to have good light ouput. The LEDS are too far up the bulb and does not emit out of the lens.

I'm going to buy two of the 6 led ba9s WHP6 from Superbrightleds, ( I called the tech dept. and he confirmed that this is non polar) and two of the 5 LED ba9s from Autolumination to compare. Will post back with results...

Thanks Brian! You are spending a lot of money on test bulbs. I am sure a few guys on here will help you absorb those costs, including myself. You are doing a lot of R&D for us, we'll make it up to you.....

No worries, I'm sending back the ones that don't work for a refund, so I'll only be out shipping. I'd be doing this anyway, so at least you guys will be able to save some time and money!
