Sorry guys but I have been busy with so many other things. I installed the rest of my LEDs today except for the trunk.
The Trunk:
I unplugged the light however, Timmay77 has pointed out the plugs are different. So here is the scoop, you can remove the metal clips inside the housing carefully and get the different clips that accomodate the 44mm bulbs and install them. I think it will work, but I have to get the extra housing/clips from Raza. Anyway, the picture below shows how I removed the one clip with needle nose pliars.
I got another email from Auto Illumination. They do not process returns util Fridays. So it will be 1 more week until they get my returns to process before mailing out the new bulbs.
These are probably not the best pictures, but the light was getting low and I did not use the flash to give you a sense of the LED color, also it really does light up the cabin as good as the regular bulbs if not better.
Also did a little picture taking of the car with the Dinan rims which I like a whole lot better than stock.

I have been extremely busy at work, at home and spending time learning my new beast.
Here's what I did to my trunk light to convert to LED.
As you all know, most or some trunk lights on the E39 M5 uses a 194 style spade bulb.
On my E63 M6, BMW used these style not only on the trunk but on the doors as well.
1) Determine which wire is negative and which one is positive on the car connector side. Mark positive with red, mark black the negative side.
2) Determine which end of the LED bulb is positive and negative.
Mark each end with red and black marker similar to step 1.
3) Solder wires to the ends of festoon bulbs.
Note: Pre-tin each wire and pre-tin each end of LED bulb.
You want to apply and remove heat quickly so as not to melt the LED bulb internal connections.
4) Insert the festoon bulb UNDER the metal clips.
Ensure there is no metal to metal contact to avoid a short connection.
If the LED wont fit easily, cut one side of the plastic housing and insert the bulb sideways.
5) Solder positive LED wire to the positive side of the bulb housing contact. Do the same for the negative wires / solder them together.
6) Use hot melt glue if you prefer like I did to ensure very good solid well built connection and to avoid any short connection.
See photos. Hope that helps.

As always, thanks for coming up with the solution. But as xr4tic mentioned... why not just use a 194 style LED bulb? Are they not bright enough?
btw: you need a new sig Dan.

1) Yes, if the LED burns out, I will have to get a whole new bulb housing. Why did I do it anyway?
The Festoon bulbs I ordered is supposed to last 50,000 hours.
That's about 10 years using the LED bulb 5 hours a day.
My M6 will be long gone by the time it burns out.
None of the festoons I purchased from Autolumination.com has failed on me.
2) Why not just use a 194 bulb?
Because I bought A LOT of the 44mm Festoon Super Bright LED bulbs and I want to use them all up before I buy new ones.
