Navigation System Software Update

My local dealer has the version 18 software but they have not received the CD key yet. I remember that both the upgrade and the Key had been previouly posted as a downloadable file. Does anybody out there still have the file and can send it to me. I assume that as it is only the CD "Key" it won't be that big of a file that I can then burn onto a CD.
Thanks

I hope that this is the appropriate way to respond. Either an email or a link to your server as you suggested would be greatly appreciated. If its not a problem maybe you could make available not only the key but the upgrade file itself and I can hopefully avoid another trip tp my local dealer!!!

Thanks again

Don't bother...I just came back from the dealership where I upgraded my Nav OS to version 18.2 and there it didn't require the key CD when I did that. Ask your dealership for v18.2.

Hey Jason. Does V18.2 eliminate the Accept button?

If I recall my dealer's CD did say version 18.2 and after loading asked to insert CD key or version 17. We had to put in version 17 and the system went back to its original configuration so I still need the Key CD which the local dealer had not yet received.

I think 18.2 will install over 18 without a key CD, but to install over 17.x requires the key CD.

How do you determine the verison of the nav software?

This accept button is driving me crazy.

Can you download the new version to cd and upgrade without dealer?

Sorry, for question, I am newbie on M5, just upgraded from 540.
