I am trying to wire up my Angel Eyes to turn on when I turn on the ignition but can not find an ignition voltage when the key is ON for my relay. I can find PLENTY of 2,3,4, and 12v+ when the key is off. I can not find any that are 0v when off and any voltage + when on. I just need a turn on lead for my relay which will pull virtually no amperage. I am getting my power and ground elsewhere.
I will explain how I plan on doing so WITHOUT an error light on the dash once I figure out how to get my ignition voltage. I will do a full write up on this.....
Hey, Tim. I recently wired the 12v ignition wires for the relays in my Zionsville radiator/electric fan setup to the large gauge red wire in the stand alone plug on the far left side of the ECU. Tested it with a multimeter to ensure that it was switched 12v power. I know that's a bit far from the headlights!

That would work perfect, thanks, except I have NO CLUE where the ECU is . Forgive me, is it under the hood? Would you happen to have a picture of the location?

It's not that big of a deal really, we can do the programming anytime. This shouldn't be too bad of a deal really. Now that I know where I can get an ignition signal from, along with the Battery + and a ground, wiring will be a snap. I am picking up some wire, fuse holders, a few more relays, and fuses tomorrow. I also bought some loom to protect everything. I just need to go buy myself a new soldering iron, I seemed to have miss placed mine in my last move it seems.
