Flickering dash display - weird
Last week I started my car one morning and the digital display below the speedo went berzerk. It dimmed suddenly then flickered for a minute. Intermittently the mileage would show then disappear followed by the service indicator.

I almost panicked then thought maybe there's an electrical surge. So I switched off and restarted... all was back to normal with no apparent ill effects thereafter.

It hasn't happened since and I wonder...

- Has anyone else experienced this?
- Car's in for service on Thursday, should the dealer check it out?

My display is being replaced due to a partial showing of pixels. The problem is intermittent, though. Luckily, I showed the service writer last time I was in (last week) while it was malfunctioning. It cleared up later on, too.
