I would go ESS. The CA product looks like crap to me. They use common metal, zip ties to hold the oil cooler in place and the a dryer hose router under the car to transfer boost. I just do not like the quality of the kit. The ESS kit looks top notch.
Buy one already!

I agree I think the ESS kit looks cleaner, closer to OEM appearance. What I also like about the ESS kit is that it seems to do more with less and for less - which tells me it is better put together.

I am going off the picture. The metal bracket under the car is rusted so.. yes it is common metal, meaning not stainless, aluminum etc. And in every picture the oil cooler is hanging by zip ties and yes the long plastic hose that runs from the air filter to the blower is a horribly cheap idea. So... yes! I am sure about this. If you compare the two pictures you will see a vast difference in quality and design.. Good day!

But it seems like the ESS SC has no extra oil cooler, no IC, and no CNC MACHINED MANIFOLD PLATES

Keep in mind also, that the ESS kit is ONLY running 5.5 psi. That's pretty low boost for a pretty good amount of return on the power.

Hi All
I see what you mean, by looking at the pictures and i guess its my fault! because i have never made any pictures of the final kit..
So whats on the pictures are what the test car had fitted during development! sorry about that...
All parts in the kit comes coated black.. and with black silicone!
We dont sell rusty plates .. However its true that our SC bracket isnt made from 7075alu like all the other parts! And its not that we didnt want too use alu, but by calculating the amount of stress on the bracket i ment it wasnt safe.. see the small amount of stress on the metal bracket in the pic.

As for the oilcooler.. Sorry about that too... But at the time i was playing around with the amount of cooling needed, to keep the SC oil on a 80degree celcius level.. And because the SC sits down low, it gets alot of cooling from the air, so the oilcooler fitted is acctualy too big.. But by turning it around it will only flow in the top of the oilcooler and then the temp. were perfect... Plus with an extra bracket I can turn it around for max. cooling if a customer would need it.. so both options are there without any big changes...

When im back home again i will make some pictures of the out of the box kit, so you can see the coating..
Best regards and drive you M's safe..
Ruben

You can purchase the plenum plates from CA separately. Pricey, but probably worth it.
