The NY BMW CCA chapter has a get together planned for Feb. 16th, Saturday with the 24th as a rain date. It is in Mount Vernon, NY off the Hutch. Anyone interested, it says to RSVP. Let me know: DrJimM5@aol.com

Jim

P.S. Maybe Max can elaborate on what may go on here.

Here are more details

February 16 The Annual BMW CCA New York Chapter Beach Party 11am

Our annual beach party will once again be held at EuroMeccanica, 711 Columbus Ave, Mount Vernon, NY, 914-668-1300. (Take Exit 7 off the Hutchinson River Parkway onto Boston Post Road. Make a left at light, make a right at ExxonMobil station, go over train tracks to South Columbus). Please RSVP by calling 631-821-2002 or e-mailing us.

This year Mike Schiffer from EuroMeccanica and Rob Levinson from UUC Motorwerks will be speaking. They will be speaking about the most important components on your car (Brakes) by demonstrating on Chris Turissi's car. We'll also be offering door prizes and refreshments. BMW NA is also sponsoring this event.

We'll supply the fun but you must bring your own beach chair (seriously - we need the chairs).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Long Islanders & NYC M'ers who want to join us for the ride up, please (rsvp) at the club hotline & e-mail Jim.

The forecast is calling for rain Friday into Saturday. The organizers have Sunday, Feb. 24th as the rain date, to which I will also go. Let's see what happens.
