Long time m5board member hockeytyme sells his Dinan S3 M5: but don't miss his other collection

"Car is in Southern California. I am the original owner and the car has never been wrecked and has always been garaged. The car has 31k miles on it and has the full S3 package on it. #5

I VERY much understand your theory with finding a new replacement and nothing fits. The M5 was my first real sports car I owned. I love the sleeper factor that it gives. It can spank a porsche at a light and also
drive you and your family accross the country. It's a one of kind and my favorite car I have ever owned. And I have a pretty nice list. It simply comes down to room. I don't have time to drive it. And I don't want to put too many miles on it. Thus it sits a lot.

MBZ CL65 AMG nearly 700hp after upgrades
Dodge Ram 4x4 and Cadi Escalade on 24's for the wife.. lol These are my family cars and driven the most.

Saleen S7 Competition Model (For Sale)

Ferrari F430 Novitech complete. 707 hp

Aston Martin DBS

I have one big problem with all of these cars. They are all so expensive and I don't want to track them. So I decided to build a car that if I hit
a barrier wall or some tires with it would cost me 5-15k to fix instead of 1/4 million.. lol

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO full caged, sleeved, cosworth crank, pistons, and everything else. Car has full roll cage, nitrous, and every other crazy thing I thought I might want as a kid. lol Should be 600+ horse with no NOS... can't wait

Thats very nice.

but with that kind of money thrown at a stupid EVO, I think an E46 ground up racecar would be much much much better

Gotta disagree with you. EVOs are no joke.

If you hit a barrier wall with a E46 it would cost much more than $15K to repair. Evo is a decent choice.

Personally I also want a car collection but not that many cars, because when you have multiple cars of the same purpose what's the point? I prefer to bond with my vehicles. I think I could make do with just 4 cars in my collection:
1) Sedan-E39 M5 S3 to move 4 people
2) SUV-Porsche Cayenne Twin-Turbo for the wifey
3) Convertible Sports Car-BMW M6 Dinan Stuff
4) Off-Road/Tow Vehicle-Toyota Tundra V8 with TRD Goodies

Cars 1-3 would all take turns at the track, otherwise their potential is wasted

You are absolutely right about that. That is part of the reason I am selling two of them. It's just too many. I don't have time to drive them and I feel like Im wasting them. Kinda funny but here's how it works....

For daily driving I drive my truck and uncover either the M5 or CL65.
Then I'll uncover one of the three exotics and drive it couple times during the week. I'll usually do this for two weeks. And then rotate.
so if the first week is truck,M5,S7 the next week is truck,cl65,DBS and so on. It's kinda ridiculous actually! I have a detailer that comes to my house every other week to wash up 3 at a time not including the Escalade. The only thing I clean myself now is my sand rail

It's just hard not to buy something you love if you can afford it. When I was 6 I made wall to wall wallpaper of cars and hot rods I cut out of my dads magazine. My dad built hotrods when I was a kid and I have always been around cars. The only difference now is that I hate to wrench on them. I grew up middle class like most poeple and when I was 30 I started making good money.. so I bought cars.. lol

Im also not big into the flashy cars too much. I like the sleepers much more. Cars for me is about speed and power. Not being a suite showing up to dinner in a Ferrari. Actually, im kind of embarrased to drive them at times. I know it sounds odd but it makes you feel like your showing off.

My first car was a Datsun truck. It had the duel webber side drafts, cam, header, pistons etc.. lol It's was a peice but I loved it. It wasn't fast enough so I bought cheap power.. Street bikes.. I rode bikes for about 7 years. Ninja 600, CBR900, etc. I had my first CB6 600 build and to the roof and I went down two teeth in the front. I would smoke GSXR 1100's for breakfast. I use to go the street races in Onterio in the late 80's early 90's and race every week. The good times! Before it was over populated people would trailer in cars.. lol

My first exotic was a 02 Ferrari 360 F1 convertable.. I got that one year after the M5. But I hated it.. I was fun but I didn't like being in a fish bowl. http://www.wwwdezignz.com/mike/lamike_ferrari_300k.wmv

After that I got the S7 which was the first in Ferrari style red with the race wing, 4 pt belts, and 100hp upgrade. Then came the F430 which I recently put the 707hp duel supercharger Novitech on it. Bigger wheels, wing, hydrolic front end, suspension, etc.
http://www.00buck.com/IMG_1336.JPG

Then the Aston came out and I had to get it.

I guess what Im trying to say is, I have a problem. Im addicted to cars.. lol

After the S7 Im consider selling the 430... but sitting in a F1 shifting car that weight just over 3k and has 700+hp it's almost impossible. That car is sick fast!

And to the EVO hater....

You have no idea how badass that car is. It's will have more HP than an S3 M5 has even before NOS. And it weighs 2000lbs less. That's like taking 10 people out of your car. I'll have pics of it soon.
