Dinan Lightweight Dual-Mass Flywheel

So I'm get ready to put my new clutch in, and i went to shop to see how much it would cost. and the guy running the shop said that the dinan Lightweight Dual-Mass Flywheel could not be resurfaced and that i would need to buy a new one, does anyone know if this is true?

I would call Dinan, they will tell you straight up. Dinan is a stand up company they will tell you the truth at least they always have for me....just my 02.

called today, they said that the bmw flywheels can't not be resurfaced and that we would need to buy a new one and also new blots for the flywheel.

I've had the pleasure of having a few BMW clutch/flywheels replaced over the years - and I've always heard the same thing, that you will always need a new flywheel with the clutch.

My track car (E36) has the UUC heavy duty clutch (E34 M5) with ltw, single mass flywheel. 8 years later - and it's still one of my all-time favorite modifications I've done to the car (and there's a lot done to the car...)
