Windshield Rubber Seal

Hi Guys,

Can the rubber seal be replaced while the windshield is on the car? or does one need a new windshield when getting this replaced?

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...=51&fg=05&hl=3

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks,

I'm wondering the same about the rear glass surround. Mine is starting to look like an eyesore.

Send a message via AIM to wxl1988
It can be replaced without removing the windshield.

you can replace the rubber around the windshield with the glass in place. The dealers will tell you otherwise, but i, and many other board members have replaced the rubber moulding. A search should find the write up.
