Tomorrow replacing the Thermostat (car is runnig very cold), Oil Seperators, fuel filter. Also replacing the stock air filters and doing a MAF clean (never been done). We are going to run MAF test as well.

Since my car has been running cold it feels sluggish. I think it is because the car stays in warm up mode and keeps the mixture rich?

Anyway hopefully this will have a positive effect.

There is no reason to replace oil separators unless they are cracked or otherwise damaged.
There is nothing in them.
Just flush out with brake cleaner or some other solvent, then blow out with compressed air. They will be good as new.

Car may feel sluggish because of bad MAFs. If you have more than 40k-50k miles on them, they probably need to be replaced, cleaning probably wont' do anything.

cleaning the MAFS will work short-term.. but they will very quickly go south again. Best to replace them with new ones.

Will decide after the MAF test if I need to order new ones. WIll clean them nevertheless...

Worth a try. You'll only be out a $6 can of MAF cleaner...

If you are getting to the point that cleaning the MAF's gives the car a boost, they are on the way out..Its probably time to pick up a set..thay are so simple to change, and the impact on performance is so noticeable..Its smart money
