^ I really am thinking about having you clear coat my interior pieces. I like the shiny surface. Would it turn out looking OEM'ish? Thoughts?

personally i wouldnt clear the inside pieces. i dont even think the outside needed clearing but i played it safe. the inside you will be fine and you will really like the texture of the trim when you see it. you lose some of that when its clearcoated and the finish doesnt pop out as much as it would unclear.

How resistant do you think the material is to spills and stains. I do, unlike many folks on this board, do drive with a coffee or maybe a kid sippy cup in the cup holder. Thus, I've had a spill or two that I can easily wipe up off the wood surface.

What about cleaning issues? I still have little ones, juice and chocolate could very easily get smudged on it. I guess I just need to feel/see the material. I personally like the look of the clear coat on a surface. Maybe I will change my mind when I see the material.

Thanks Raza....

EDIT: Osodog and I think alike!! LOL....

I'm not really THAT concerned about it. I just don't know how tightly woven this material is. Not sure if it will absorb or deflect stuff.

It's waterproof, actually. I took a bare piece of material and rubbed some water on the textured size.
