u can dignose the vibration by the frq per vibration and the engine order, then use the table dpending on the engine size and the order the viberation is on it will reffer u to the possible area to look into.
as I understand all the discussion might feel the same but have a slight deferent vibration speed... meaning it will be from a deferent source in the engine or even the body of the car

I just recently picked up a vibration when cold around 2k RPMs. I thought it was a guibo. It isn't. My exhaust mount is orange and saggy. The vibration is gone once I drive it a while and it warms up. Any thoughts?

So you were under the car, right, because you saw the supports were orange and saggy? (I just know some guys are reminded of women they knew from that description. Or vice versa.) Was the exhaust touching the cross member? Because if it was, you have vibration.

I pulled the exhaust when I changed the center bearing in the driveshaft. The vibration was there and got worse and worse. I thought it was the guibo. That was fine. The vibration started in what felt like the tunnel area. Now it feels like it is just ahead of the passenger firewall. The engine visibly shakes from side to side until it warms up. Only right at 2k rpms.

I am pleased to report that the old orange exhaust mounts had the exhaust sitting on the center support. I changed them for the newer, more substantial black ones. All the vibration is finally gone.

Bringing this back up

I have a vibration it seems to be exhaust related. Anyone have a good muffler delete video that shows the tips and everything? The exhaust shop only put 1 hanger on each side of the tips. I have the muffler delete from the resonators back. . my tips and exhaust move quite a bit when at idle. . When at idle first start its at 1000rpm then settles at 650. . No bouncing rpms steady 650. Engine mounts & exhaust mounts have been changed as well. Also when i rev at idle i get a good vibration up to 1200 rpm then it goes away. Any help would be appreciated.

Also did a DYNO run last week:

307.8 HP @ 5800 rpm. 15 gallons of 91 octane and 2 gallons of 100 octane
Stupid BMW update ECU wouldn't allow me to do REDLINE. It has 114k miles.

Buddy has an 02 as well with 130k he ran at 334 hp to wheels. 398.4 to the crank. Same gas ratio.
