UK Owners: Track Day at Bedford Autodrome Feb 11th

It will probably be an open-pit-lane format. I plan on going along.

Sounds interesting - couldn't find any reference to it on their site though. Is it an M5 only event or open? How many participants and what's the cost?

A track day in early Feb. sounds like fun, especially with DSC switched off!

Telephone and speak to Liz to find out the details. Their own dates seem not to get on the site. I was there last week and it cost £195 I think. Your real cost will be the petrol at 8mpg!

It will be a mixed experience crowd there, not split into groups. Some will be very fast and others less so. The common cars wll be 911s and Caterhams, probably, with a smattering of Mitsubishi Evos, e30 M3s, a Ferrari or two. a Scooby maybe, and so on. There have been professional drivers available for coaching when I've been there before.

If you do go, drive safely. Our cars are not the best to learn track driving in. If it is your first time it would be good a idea to hire a pro for the first half an hour or so.
