Bumper Sticker!?

Just wondering if anyone has / would consider putting a bumper sticker on the ///M...

I personally would never do it... I've seen some people place bumper stickers on other 5 and 7 series cars. I don't think I've ever seen an ///M with bumper stickers.

I would never put a bumper sticker on ANY car.

Although I've always thought bumper stickers could be an effective method of swaying public opinion on an issue. Plaster your car with stickers promoting the opposition, and then drive like a complete asshöle all the time. This tactic was suggested to me inadvertently years ago by a maniac in a Pontiac with "VOTENRA" on his license plate and pro-gun stickers all over his car. I saw him cause at least four near-collisions in as many minutes, and thought "with friends like these..."

Uhhhhh, I don't think so, not ever! Where I live, bumper stickers on trucks are a dime a dosen and mostly on trucks explaining the right to bear arms and then some. I personally think bumper stickers degrade the look of any car, especially the beast. But, there's others who do like them for some reason and paste them all over the place. To each his own I guess

I have yet to ever do so.....

...BUT, I've been thinking about how to tastefully get the following message across:

Look Twice, Save a Life. Motorcycles Are Everywhere!

Given the various scary moments on my bike that I've had in Atlanta with inattentive drivers, I'd like to use the natural allure of the Beast to do some good. But alas, I don't know if it can be done is a tasteful fashion, and that's why she's still pristine...

NO WAY

While I am Pro Gun rights and believe that everyone should have a right to bear arms in the USA as declared by the Second Amendment to the US Constitution and an avid NRA member, I personally would never subject my cars to bumper stickers.

I hate bumper stickers. I would never lower the class of my soon to be arriving M5 or my 3 Series by adding bumper stickers. I'm not sure why anyone would?

As far as that guy that was driving like a maniac in order to create a bad reputation for gun advocates like myself, well, I hate to have other people make decisions for me. If I ran into him I'd have to pull him from his car and thrash him soundly. What an *******.

Just had another thought....you all realize that the same people (generally speaking) that have nothing better to do with their time than to try to ban guns and destroy the second amendment and turn us all into communists are the same people who are also trying to lower the speed limits on our highways here in the US.

Many of these people voted against the 65 mph speed limit bill that was put into effect in NJ and other US areas a couple of years ago. Not like 65 is that fast. I vote the limit should be unlimited in the left lane outside of the city.

Guns are illegal in Switzerland, are they not? Well, so it speeding.

I don't believe he was doing it on purpose. I think he was on the same side as you and I, but his driving habits undermined his message. He was WAY too aggressive and reckless; he came across as a maniac with a self-control problem and thus was a bad advertisement for gun rights, though I doubt he intended to be. But watching him made me realize that the PR damage he was doing by accident could also be done on purpose.

My favorite unintentionally self-defeating bumper sticker, which I actually saw on a car some years ago:

FRIEND'S DON'T LET FRIEND'S VOTE REPUBLICAN

Apostrophes were as shown. Undoubtedly a product of our fine public schools. What a delicious irony that the teacher's unions are bedfellows with the Democrats.

Though I still wouldn't put any bumper sticker on my car, occasionally I'm strongly tempted by some especially pithy or pungent message, like this one: SO YOU'RE A FEMINIST... ISN'T THAT CUTE!
