My install had some "glitches" as well, I switched the connector around (the one that use to plug into your bulb) that plugs into the balast and all problems went away... I dont know for sure but maybe the pins on the balasts are reversed on some sets? ex: + = -

BTW I used a 6000k kit from bimmian.

You might be the lucky one then. My customer service has been less than stellar with them besides the finger being pointed at me for installation error. It is plug and play and the connectors only fit one way... it is not that difficult and I am a DIY'er.

To each his own...

Apexcone worked for one foglight for awhile

and then nothing. I've had them for less than a year on a 2000 M5. The company is not helpful. Roll the dice if you want.

Ask Matt at umnitza! He has some that have so far worked way way longer than any other ebay HID ive had(which was several different brands). If money is no object and you want the best of the best. One word, "Phillips".

i bought apexicone, one side did not work, ordered another one from the vendor same story.. Finally bought a kit from Need4Speed. works like a sharm. Since i bought my kit i've changed my headlights to 6000k on ebay.. Did not match my foglights though so i ordered a pair for my fog lights. Total spent $200 for the kit $50 for healights, $40 for the foglights. Well worth it..

How many of you want to do this?
We have a great contact that is offering us a crazy good deal on some "direct ship" canbus ballasts that virtually guarantee no errors at all. but they are about $150 for the kit.

I might be interrested. I have a pair of your 6000K foglights whose ballasts must have stopped working (endless flickering) as I swapped in the ballasts for my H7 high-beams (that don't fit in the housing) and now they work the majority of the time. Every once in a while, one of the lights won't come on and now one of the lenses cracked on my trip to Virginia last July (no doubt a rock) so I would like to replace/upgrade. I would be interested in some 4300K (to match the low beams) with the housings and lenses if available.

I did the Apexcone swap a couple of years back. No fit issues, no warning lights and no issues ever since.

Angel iBright - Apex HID fogs, and tint...

Also installed in two other cars, one BMW 540 that also had no issues, one Audi S4 where I had to use the warning light eliminator boxes they sell as well. And I got a faulty ballast that melted. That was a pain in the....
