PDC sensor

Hi,

My park distance control has stopped working and after listrening for the pulse on each sensor found that one one the rear, the inside and not the outside is not pulsing. However i cant seem to find a way to get to it and remove it.The outer ones are easy as you just pop off the plastic strip.Any ideas would be well appreciated.

cheers

Open the the boot and the 2 inner doors and you will see 3 gold bolts on each side, remove them and then remove the 3 plastic clips in the rear wheel arches. Slide the bumper off being sure to disconnect the cable from the pdc control unit in the right hand side boot compartment first.
You could always get an air dusted and some foam or electrical cleaner and try to clean the sensors first before you remove the bumper.

PDC sensor problem, but they all seem to be working...

thought I had the same issue as the OP and others on previous threads - turning on PDC results in the immediate solid tone and the blinking PDC light. Per previous threads, everyone said to get out and listen to each sensor and find the one that is NOT clicking.

My problem is this: all of them are clicking!! I went around the car twice and am certain that putting my ear to each in turn revealed that they are all clicking.

So...where do I go from here?? Any advice is appreciated!!

thanks guys
SP
