I have the HD dice and Im not really satisfied with HD reception. It cuts in and out too often. I'm wondering if anyone has installed any antenna amplifier that actually worked? I did some reading and all the antenna amplifier that I came across with didn't get good reviews. Does anyone have the Stealth Antenna for HD dice made by europeanautosoruce? Any electronic expert here that know how to increase HD signal? Thanks for any help.
First of all, BIG THANK YOU for WHATDAHECK (Dan) who graciously provided much guidance to my setup including the preamp to run my iphone w/ the unit.
I have both the stealth antenna & the antenna that came w/ the Dice HD RADIO. I have tried either on it's own and my best result was achieved using both together. Prior to the HD Radio unit, my FM only came in mono mode during my entire 25 mile stretch of my commute w/ the stock radio. The reception still cut out on a very short stretch w/ the HD but overall is a drastic improvement over stock.
I think the instruction indicates that your distance to the signal tower matters so no guarantee that the stealth antenna will work as well for you. good Luck.

So, HD DICE.
3rd_World is correct. To get the best signal reception with HD DICE - you need both DICE stealth antenna and HD DICE original antenna combined.
That's pretty much it.
FYI also, I will be making another post soon.
I have removed my HD DICE and installed a simple iPod interface. I am much happier now. ALL of the iPod interface out there I have already tried and they all have issues (I have a post on this here somewhere).
This new iPod interface I recently installed has Zero issue, works perfect and sounds great. Finally, a simple iPod interface with no issue.
My HD Dice and DICE stealth antenna will be offered here for sale soon.
I will post more info on the new iPod BMW adapter soon.

Have you tried the Intravee? I had the Silverline DICE and had nothing but grief (even after getting a new unit). I have the Intravee and I am in heavenly bliss. I have not had one problem and I love the interface on the nav screen. Have you heard if others have had an issues with the Intravee?
