New M5 owner

Hi Everyone.

After returning from my second deployment to Iraq I finally decided to purchase the car I've wanted to have for the past five years. I found this beautiful 03 Carbon Black / Black M5 with 51K on the odo. PPI revealed a few minor deficiencies that were quickly corrected by the selling dealership.

I previously owned a 99 M3 which I absolutely loved for the 2 short years I owned it. This car is so much fun to drive, I am going to have a blast with it. I look forward to doing a few cosmetic mods but nothing major (I know I say that now).

- Brett

Some pics I just took. Weather has been poor the past few days, but I'm driving this car regardless of rain.

Part of the deal with the car was an extra set of wheels with all-season tires on. These are the wheels on the car right now. I think they are knock offs because they don't have that "Satin" look to them. I do have the original satin wheels as well which I will put summer tires on.

Looks Great

What part of Virginia are you? I've recently been over on business to Williamsburg, VA and thought it was a really lovely place - can't wait to come over to the USA again really soon!

Northern VA (Prince William County) about 30 minutes West of Washington D.C. Where are you from in the UK? I've only been to London and Bath before, but would like to come over there again and spend some more time driving around.

I flew to and from Dulles and called in on a friend in Washington.

I live in Northamptonshire which is very central in the UK. Some good driving roads here, but you have to be careful because of all the Speed Cameras (fixed and mobile).

Enjoy your M5; as mentioned above, you sure do deserve it!
