Did some more work today. Should be daily updates this week, I am working 2nd shift so I have all morning to work on the car. Since Dinan doesn't have my flywheel done yet, I might as well do something.....

Vapro barrier removed, Dynomat applied, speaker baffle ready to mount.

L8 installed. I sealed the door panel back up with strips of Dynomat. No worries about the removed vapor barrier.

Grill test fit......

Screws are a little long so I am going to source a few shorter ones.

Cut what off? The door cards? The piece I removed was held on with plastic rivets for the most part. I also had to cut away some of the wood with yes, a dremmel. It wasn't too terribly bad, just nerve racking....

No, sorry, I know you have easy access to shorter bolts but was just asking if you could cut the ones that are too long with the Dremel.

I could, but then I would have to use a file and fix the threads. It is just easier to get some shorter ones.....

Can you put a nut on a drywall screw? No. I need nuts and bolts, like I am using, to make this work.

The hardware is the least of my worries guys. I have an ulimited supply of that.....

The likely hood of water touching the screws is nil, and if that were the case, rusty nails would be the last of my concerns.

HE LIVES! Time for you to make another trek down to LI; it's been over a year since I last got the pleasure of drinking beer with you and hearing you call Cristian a "F**k stick."
