Thanks to bmwm5.com

Just picked up the Beast from the dealership this past Wednesday. I felt the need to acknowledge this boards contribution, in so many ways, to make the whole process from deciding on an M5 to actually picking it up a much more knowledgeable and pleasurable experience!!

Let me count the ways:
Many discussions of possibleE39 problems: clutch, cooling fan, other “quirks”,etc
Helping me decide that MSRP was a reasonable price,
Helping me decide on the merits of the various options,
Helping me decide among the various financing options,
Various referrals re:leasing, saving me thousands$ ,
Helping me “keep the faith” during my waiting period,
Showing me how to track the cars progress via BMWNA 800#,
Providing continued excitement about possible mods and upgrades,

And last but not least….providing many hours of “vicarious M5 experience.”

What a great resource......the bmwm5 board rocks!

Congratulations! So, if you don't mind us asking, in what way did you resolve all the things you mentioned. E.g, what options, colors, etc.?

Way to go! Glad to hear you finally got your own Beast. Bet you can't stop grinning for, oh, let's say, a year or two........

I ended up getting all the options:M-audio,PDC,folding seats.

The weather has been so wet here in Nashville I haven't been able to get any good pix in natural light. Here are some I took, and a salesman took at the dealership.

I have a Caramel interior as well. It looks great! (Of course, IMHO Oxford Green as an outside color can't be beat! ) How are you planning to clean the interior (besides Lexol)?

I have two small boys, so I am interested in any suggestions.
