Is there a limit to the number of private messages?

I have a fellow member saying he could not send any more to me.

Does anything affect the number of PMs we can receive?

I only have ten in my message box.

Bart, I've had more than 10 PM's in my mailboxes before.. you might want to make sure that you've set your PM to show all the messages from the beginning and also check your "sent mail" box too. There could be LOADS of messages there causing your PM to be full. I overlooked this myself for a while too.

the default limit on our server software is 30 messages. That includes ALL of your messages, including ones you have sent and then did not go back to erase, as well as ones you've received from folks. To get an accurate count, go to your PM folders and ask it to show you messages (in each folder you have, including the sent folder) since the beginning. Then, go in and delete older messages so you will have room to take in new ones up to your limit.

Well, I looked in the sent box and found another 20 messages.

Guess that explains it.

Now don't you all send me messages at once!
