Anyone have this problem with Ipod????

Hello ,

I been reading old posts for 3 hours now ,but could not find the answer to my problem.

My car is 2000 with DSP system .About a year ago i instaled Dice kit in my car .

It was working great until I update the software on the Ipod. Now when i turn on the car ,the Ipod will conect with the dice for a few second and then it will stop.

So I switch from CD to radio to tape ,then to CD again then it will work, but this is not the problem.

After it worked .I have no control to the Ipod from neither the Ipod or the steering wheel.

So what i do is hard rest the Ipod ,and then i can control it from the Ipod only.
Its getting annoying every time i get in the car.I tried everything like (disconect the battery and disconect the 3 pin conector and reset the Ipod through Itunes to the previous software that worked before).

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Hi,

To make you feel even worse... I have a 1999 with DSP and with a Dice system and with lates iTunes and iPod software.....and its still running.

O' I have other problems. Like the "weird" way to controll it....and I think I have a maximum of playlists. So I wanna take a look what else there is to find on the market.

FYI. I have a iPod Classic Video 160 GB.

KUP! (Keep us posted )

go to the apple store and explain your situation... they should be able to tell you what software was originally in there and can most likely reinstall the previous software...

Have you tried resetting the Ipod and disconnecting Dice Power for full reset.
The only thing I usually have to do before putting iPod back in car is hold the 2 buttons on it to reset it and all is fine again.

As McM5 said, reset your DICE. I had to do this once.
