Help with some codes.

Hello All,

I met up with board member BMWBIZ today, and he let me use his peake reader, which I greatly appreciate.

These are the codes that were pulled from the car:
8D fuel level plausibility
2C thermal oil sensor
8F E Box fan
69 Engine coolant temp plausibility
E8 Evaporative emission purge valve functional check

I think that a new Thermostat will get rid of 69 and E8, but i have no idea about the rest.

Regards,
Fab 5

Did you ever try to clean it? A couple members cleaned it, and never had the code come back again.

69 could be your coolant temp sensor not the thermostat

Nope. I figured WTH, I'll just replace it. I'm trying to be pro-active instead of reactive.
