I cannot get them to work. I tried the non fouler and the resistor with a capacitor. I sort of lost my job last week so I don't want to buy software

I tried their product... did not work. They sent another version, no luck again. I gave up with their products and had my PC software updated (I already had this in my car). Yes, it cost $$, but no problems.

I will have a set of OEM CATS for sale in a few months, but they will cost $$.

What codes are you getting?
Have you already installed new 02 sensors all around?

You have to know the respnonse characteristics which are not static. The car is looking for different voltage response from the O2 sensors for differnet conditions, therefore a passive circuit will not work. Its easier to change the software than it will be to try and figure out the expected response characteristics and build an active circuit.

The complexity of the software makes it not even worth trying to cheat the O2 sensors. Something that is becoming nearly impossible to do on newer cars.

Actually it is easier to make sure you have good O2 sensors first...

That doesn't matter if there are no cats. I imagine BMW ecu is more sensitive than because the rear o2. Gives an oscilating current signal to the computer on others you can imitate that but it appears that imitation is not close enough on the m5

You are running no cats?

That's actually pretty ignorant.

I can really see no reason to help you pollute...

+1 on the pollution

Im running super sprint race cats on my car I get a ses light between 50-400+ miles depending on warmup of car as well as outside temp

I have thought of running simulators but never tried

If I did it again I would choose the stock cats with the dinan headers the 8 rwhp I got from running race cats were not that worth it as well as the extra noise

but my friend you are catless
