Looking for a good DETAILER in the nothern NJ area.

Hey all,

I am getting that small ding in my car removed tomorrow and I think it's about time to have my car detailed. I am trying to find someone in the NJ area who does a real good job detailing cars. Anyone with any experience?

Thanks in advance!!

Send a PM to DZeckhausen. I don't know any of the details, but he's in NJ and knows someone who is supposed to be amazing. (From everything I've read David is a pretty amazing guy too)

David has been involved in the big brake thread so he's been on the board recently.

Donovan's in Westwood does an excellent hand wash, I am not sure about the full detail that they do though.

I second AMP's recommendation. I have heard wonderful things about a BMWCCA member who does great work. May want to give him a try.

Harry,

Let us know how this turns out. I haven't had my beast that long, but I wouldn't mind getting it detailed by someone really good.

Unfortunately, My detailer (and Ferrari enthusiast) passed away . Since then, I’ve tried a few different guys with little satisfaction. There seems to be many guys out there that think that because they have a bucket and hose they know how to detail a car. In one instance, I went to pick up my car and while looking it over I opened the hood, the detailer looked at me like I was from another planet…”I’ve been doing this for 15 years and I’ve never opened a single hood…” of course I never went back to that clown.

My car was last detailed by Daryl at “Chariot Sprucers” out of Ramsey NJ (great name huh?) 201-818-0212 He travels to you and does a pretty good job so I do plan to use him again. Does he do as good as Greg? I don’t know.

Paul

Paul,

Sorry to hear that about your past detailer. So this guy comes to you huh? That sounds good. I can sit back and have a beer while I watch him work on my car! I think I'll give him a shot.

Thanks!!

Hey USR guys, why not get our cars together and have him detail them all at once! Perhaps save some $$ also. You guys can join me with my beer!

Who is buying the beer?

I might be up for this, but it wasn't actually an overwhelming recommendation by Paul. Did you check out AMP's and TCM's recommendation?
